We don’t want your money, we want to encourage carpooling and the use of public transportation (free to A-Basin via the Summit Stage bus). Why are we charging? - The last few years we have seen a significantly large decrease in the number of guests who carpool and/or take public transportation to A-Basin.When is paid parking active in Early Riser? - 6 AM to 12 PM for vehicles with fewer than 3 people in them.On Saturdays and Sundays, we recommend parking in High-Noon. SKI SEASON UPHILL ACCESS PARKING BEFORE / AFTER HOURS The small Drop-Off Lot is free outside of operating hours and should have enough spaces for uphillers. Large commercial vehicles are not allowed to park at Arapahoe Basin, but may drop off their passengers.Colorado State Patrol will tow your vehicle. This lot also has a limited number of paid parking spaces (free in summer $40 in the winter season). Please use the pedestrian underpass.ĭROP OFF/PICK-UP + 15-MINUTE PARKING + HANDICAP SPACES Located in our Admin Lot / Drop-Off Lot adjacent the big A-Basin sign and the A-Frame building. The Admin/Drop-Off parking lot is paid parking 7 days a week. The other lots-all walking distance to the lifts and base area-remain free except for the small drop-off lot. For all others, it will be $20 to park (6 AM to noon). On Saturdays, Sundays, and major holidays, the Early Riser Parking lot will become a carpool lot with free parking for anyone with 3 or more people in their vehicle.
